A United Nations commission will begin a six-month investigation next month into the assassination of the former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto of Pakistan, the United Nations announced Friday. Ms. Bhutto was killed in December 2007 as she was campaigning for parliamentary elections. The three-member commission will be led by the Chilean ambassador, Heraldo Muñoz, and will include Marzuki Darusman, a former Indonesian attorney general, and Peter Fitzgerald, a former deputy police commissioner of Ireland.
