An Indian space capsule successfully splashed down in the Bay of Bengal, giving engineers a chance to test technology needed to return astronauts to Earth. The 1,210-pound capsule had orbited Earth for 11 days. India has not announced plans for a space mission with astronauts, but a moon mission without them is set for 2008.
